COVID-19 Update

 
Dear Valued Customer,

The safety and wellbeing of both our team and customers is paramount to First Home Improvements. In line with the confirmation from our industry regulators the GGF (Glass and Glazing Federation) and UK Governments Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy as issued on the 7th April 2020, the company has reviewed its procedures to allow our survey and installation/maintenance activities to commence. Furthermore, the HSE advise “Keep your business open. With the exception of non-essential shops and public venues, we are not asking any other businesses to close – indeed it is important for business to carry on.”

Our retail sales offices/showrooms remain temporarily closed in line with the Government directive for non-essential retail outlets to close. However, all of our depots are operational. We will continue to undertake all contracts in the safest possible way adhering to the Government issued guidelines. We are currently working at a reduced capacity, there may be some delays in responding to queries until our full team is back up and running. We have attempted to communicate to all customers via email (please check your junk box as some ended up in there!) or letter. Please take a moment to read below to further assist you in understanding the current position of your contract:

• If you have placed your order and you have not yet been visited for the technical survey, then we will be contacting you shortly to arrange this.
• If you are awaiting an installation date or had an installation date that was missed due to the lockdown measures, then we will be in contact with you shortly to arrange/re-arrange.
